What I love the most about my neighborhood are the neighbors! Oakhurst is a lively community where there’s always a festival or new business popping up, a book club, or friends inviting us over for dinner. And that’s just what happens within a mile of our front door—just a few more miles and we can enjoy all that Atlanta has to offer.
Oakhurst Market and the weekend Farmer’s Market in my neighborhood
About once a week—I wish it were more!
It’s so amazing that gita follows by “seeing” you. Most people assume there is some sort of remote or fob that allows gita to follow us, and they are amazed to learn that the cameras actually follow by sight.
Most of our friends and family are amazed by the technology, interested in the utility, perhaps amused at the luxury, but some are actually charmed. My dad got a kick out of dancing with her.
It’s embarrassing to admit, but I would drive one block (barely a quarter mile) for a light grocery trip to our neighborhood market. With gita, a trip to the market is an opportunity to get some fresh air, exercise, and likely meet a few new neighbors.
The robot sounds are the perfect fit!
